The Hunter House (circa 1883-1887) has been in one family since it was built as a wedding gift from John Hudson Hunter for his bride Ida Clark. House proud, his initials are on the house. Their children Mamie and Nathan inherited the home, and Nathan's wife Evelyn lived in it until she passed away at the age of 103, at which point their granddaughters, Layne and Laura Brightwell, bought the home from the estate and restored it. All this to say this home has never been available to renters until now.  Often called "the most photographed house in Georgia," this 4300 square ft., 4 bedroom, 5 bath home rests on 1.4 acres in the heart of Madison, GA, 60 miles east of Atlanta. Home rents month-to-month for $4,800 and is fully furnished. Utilities, WiFi and yard care are included. We can recommend a great housekeeper.
